Exploring the word "renaissance" in a dictionary shows the word means "the act of reviving or the condition of being revived". Synonyms like "renewal", "resurgence" and "rediscovery" are offered and they remind us that renaissances throughout history have stirred powerful, contagious movements that have dramatically improved life for the people in their path. Renaissance can be global in scope, to be sure. It can also be intimately personal.This whole concept of renaissance is part of what fuels our work here. So much so, that, well, we made it our name! In everything we do here, from pouring wildly fresh tea to seeking out delicious local farm fare for visitors to our cafe', to providing massage, classes, and events we seek to make an effective, positive difference.
